Mobile Libraries

Brimarco has manufactured over 60 mobile libraries. They vary in size and capacity greatly. We have the enviable reputation for producing the highest standard of mobile libraries in Australia.

Each library is designed and manufactured to match specific guidelines while maintaining tight budgetary controls. With most councils we try to obtain the highest possible capacity within their budget. The vehicles are equipped with state of the art hydraulics and have expansion capacity to over 3.9 metres.

TAC Driver Simulator

As we have said, our range of products is only limited to the needs of our customers. We were contracted by the then TAC to manufacture a vehicle that they could use to transport all around the country and that would house a driver simulator.

The simulator itself had to give the passenger the same feel of driving a car, truck, van etc. In other words, if the video screen showed them driving over a bumpy road, they had to feel the bumps. If they were turning around a corner, they had to feel the motion of turning.

Needless to say, we also had to ensure that the vehicle could withstand the extreme weather variations, from the high temperature in Northern Queensland to the cooler temperature in Southern Tasmania.
